It all started when…

James Hardiment fell in love with ‘80s music, whilst growing up in the U.K. & Canada. He has been actively recording and writing music ever since. Inspired heavily by the dance tracks of the early to mid ‘00s, artists at that time were sampling the old choruses of various hit songs from the 1980s decade, he would then eventually delve deeper into the originals cuts of those songs.

When YouTube finally came around near the end of 2000’s into the ‘10s, James began to find old Italo Disco music from 1980s mainland Europe. Basically the grandfather of modern EDM music, it incorporated disco style, with synthesizers, and drum machines. The vocals would incorporate melody and harmony, something the Italians have always been known for traditionally in their music. The genre started in Italy but spread across the continent, and beyond, played heavily in nightclubs, and discotheques of the time.
