The construction crews in Canada's capital city of Ottawa spent the past few weeks preparing the ice course for the Red Bull Crashed Ice Competition. The event was a first time for the city which is now hoping to bring it back every 3 years.
The contest itself consists of various downhill ice skating races which as you can see above push these athletes to their limits! The races ran on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th of March 2017 with police estimating attendance at 15,000 on the Saturday!
A smashing crashing success! Where were you this weekend?
Did you see the event?
